All boosters (that's you!) are invited to join us on Monday, April 17th at 6:30 at Cedar Ridge High School to vote on proposed changes to the Cedar Ridge High School Band Booster bylaws.
The proposed changes are noted in the documents linked to this email and will also be presented at the booster meeting tonight, March 28th at 6:30. If you have questions or comments about the changes, you may voice them at the meeting or reach out to our booster parliamentarian or president.
All proposed changes are intended to streamline the processes used by the board to manage the organization and to ensure that we are able to provide assistance, inspiration and guidance to the band and guard program in order to develop and sustain a top performing program.
The board wishes to thank everyone who has volunteered and provided feedback to us over the past school year as we strive to continually improve what is already an amazing program!
The Cedar Ridge High School Band & Color Guard program from the Round Rock Independent School District is proud to sponsor the Texas Marching Classic (TMC), a premier band competition in central Texas. Family volunteer opportunities and sign-up lists are made available to our Raider families without whom we could not host such an event as TMC, thank you! Proceeds from TMC support our Raider Band & Color Guard program.
The TMC competition includes high school bands from across the state who compete during both preliminary and finals competitions. Top bands will compete for the title of Grand Champion as well as captions of Individual & Ensemble Music, Individual & Ensemble Visual, General Effect, Percussion and Auxiliary.

Help with the behind the scenes planning & organizing of one of our biggest fundraisers. Dozens of bands participate in this all day event host by our Raider Band and it is fun for both our students and our families.
The planning session is open to everyone. We can use whatever time and energy you have to give! Just sign up and let us know you're coming.
